Southampton Police Club Trust Fund was formed in 2002 following the sale of the Southampton Police Club in Hulse Road.
The Chairman of the Trust Club is Detective Chief Inspector Paul Barton and the Directors consist of a group of both serving and retired officers.
The objectives of the Trust Club is to promote any purpose for the benefit of the Beneficiaries as the Trustees shall from time to time agree and in particular the advancement of education, the protection of health and the relief of hardship, whether financial or otherwise and sickness for the benefit of the Beneficiaries including without limitation the organisation of and the support for social events and activities to promote the welfare and well-being of the Beneficiaries.
'Beneficiaries' are defined as all serving, retired or resigned members of the Hampshire Constabulary including Police Staff, Traffic Wardens and Special Constables approved by the Committee and their spouse, partner or children.
To date, financial support has been given to a number of groups and events including Families Day, Retired Police Officers (NARPO) functions, Departmental Dinners, Station functions and the Hampshire Constabulary Band.
We will consider support for any purpose or function which is planned to benefit the Beneficiaries. Usually in the case of events by support for the entertainment provided, though each application will be considered on the information submitted and any specific means of support will be considered.
We are unable by the rules of our constitution to make donations directly to other charities.
