HIOWC now has a climbing club..!

 

The club meets at Parthian Climbing wall in Nursling every Thursday evening from 1800hrs.

 

The club welcomes climbers and non-climbers alike with all abilities welcome.

 

In order to get people climbing as soon as possible there are some forms that need completing which can be found here First Visit - Parthian Climbing

 

With a HPLS Card or Blue Light Card the cost is £13 per visit but there are monthly options as well. If you only intend to climb a couple of times per week then pay as you go is probably best but if you intend to go outside of club meets as well then the monthly will probably be more cost effective.

 

The intention of using Parthian is to have somewhere to train in the poor weather months with a view to getting out on the real rock in the good weather.

Rest assured we won’t be putting anyone into a situation which isn’t safe and which the climber isn’t fully prepared for…!

 

Before we start climbing 4b Severe and boasting about the biggest whippers we’ve taken we’ll be getting everyone comfortable with the safety aspects and the best way to do that is at an indoor venue.

 

So we can help you get the most out of your visits we would like to understand what your climbing experience is. This will help us ensure you get the right information on arrival and we can get you in the group where you will benefit the most (and have the most fun of course..!)
