Sport Section - Triathlon

Thank you for your interest in the Hantspol Triathlon club. Here’s an overview of how the club works.
About the Club
The club has been running for over 18 years with members from across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
There’s a lot of experience within the club with members having represented Team GB in UK and international events, podium placing members in UK triathlon events. We have qualified British Triathlon officials and coaches, an Ironman referee, personal training coaches, members who volunteer and support local triathlon and other sporting events and members of other local triathlon clubs. In all there`s members of all abilities - no matter where you are in your triathlon journey everyone is welcome from beginner to Ironman and everything in between.
The club is supported by HPLS. To take advantage of our financial support for race entries, you’ll need to be a paid member of Hampshire Police Leisure Sport.
Training & Events
Given everyone’s busy schedules, training sessions are flexible. Members tend to train individually or in small local groups, depending on where they live. We aim to send a strong Hantspol representation to Police Sport UK (PSUK) triathlon events, including Duathlon, Sprint, Standard, and Middle-Distance races. There’s no minimum ability or finish time expectation—everyone is welcome to join in and be part of the team!
We have a WhatsApp group where members can organize local training meetups or just chat and share updates. Additionally, our Hantspol Tri Facebook page keeps you informed about training, races, and general club news.
